Stephen Williams, the Chief Technology Officer of Click & Pledge, is discussing Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) – a set of regulations that ensure the safety of donors’ data on both their devices and the payment processor itself.
Click & Pledge adheres to the highest level of PCI DSS certification, level 1. This requires a third-party qualified security assessor (QSA) to conduct quarterly in-depth scans and vulnerability tests on Click & Pledge’s system. The QSA also performs an annual audit and quarterly penetration testing to check the compliance of Click & Pledge.
