Project Ocean Announcement
No matter where we call home on Planet Earth, every human being is in a relationship with the ocean. For this relationship to flourish, as with any human-to-human interaction, we must learn to listen to the ocean’s story and respond with sacrifice and kindness.
To that end, the Click & Pledge Foundation presents Season 5 – Project Ocean. Project Ocean will take place from January to December 2023. Together with 10 Click & Pledge nonprofit customers, we will celebrate and advocate for our ocean, and therefore our world, through creative expression and tangible action. Our goals are to raise awareness of the threats to flourishing life in and around the ocean, to support those working toward sustainable solutions and to cast a vision for a healthy human-ocean relationship.
You can expect to see:
- Engaging content from our nonprofit partners
- Ocean service projects from the Click & Pledge team throughout 2023
- Feature length documentary film
Ocean Decade Acknowledgement:
The Click & Pledge Foundation is proud to partner with the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development in the creation of our Project Ocean feature film. The Ocean Decade runs from 2021-2030, and it’s bringing together stakeholders around the world to address 10 challenges in ocean health and create improved conditions for sustainable development of the ocean. In late 2022, Project Ocean’s documentary film proposal was accepted as an Ocean Decade Endorsed Activity.
