Earlier this year, the Georgia Center for Nonprofits took a big leap and officially announced that GAgives (formerly Georgia Gives Day) was moving to Giving Tuesday.
A week later, the official results are in: Georgians raised over $6.8 million on Giving Tuesday. Additionally, GAgives.org alone processed over $4 million. Incredible job, everyone!
Giving Tuesday has increased in popularity over the last six years. It’s now one the third-largest day of giving in the year, sparking a movement of philanthropic support around the globe.
