The 2018 Cape Fear Independent Film Festival announced its category winners this week, and we’re proud to reveal the Click & Pledge Foundation joins that list. Our recent documentary “Project Home: The Next Battle” won the Best Family Film Award at this year’s CFIFF.
Filmed in North Carolina and Virginia, “Project Home: The Next Battle” details the work of Canines for Service, and how the nonprofit changed three veterans’ and their service dogs’ lives. We started the Click & Pledge Foundation in May 2017 with one mission in mind: Tell the untold stories. When we first learned of Canines for Service’s work, we jumped at the opportunity to help them tell their story. Working side-by-side with Canines for Service was a truly humbling and eye-opening experience; one we won’t soon forget.
