Often we say around the office that we’re a success story nearly 20 years in the making. We don’t consider ourselves part of the “startup culture,” but it helps to have that chip on our shoulder. It keeps us driven to do more good, and hungry to help the next Cause do even better than before. Today we’re excited to announce that competitive edge has paid off in a very unfamiliar way. That’s because last week, we were nominated for the TechNite 2017 “Rising Star” award.
For those who are unfamiliar, TechNite is the “who’s-who” among the Roanoke and New River valleys that we call home. TechNite is a time for us to come together and celebrate the amazing work being performed within the surprisingly robust tech industry in Southwest Virginia.
To be included alongside names like Qualtrax and GoJourni — within the same category once won by Mindsence and Nomad Mobile Guides — is truly an honor. We’re proud to represent a company that’s invested so much into the Causes that make the nonprofit sector truly great.
