We’re excited to join forces with our friends at Double The Donation to make corporate matching gifts even easier for our customers. Now, it’s possible for Click & Pledge customers to have employers match a donor’s charitable contributions.
As an Atlanta-based software firm, Double the Donation helps nonprofits offer a corporate matching gifts option to donation pages and forms.
Click & Pledge and Double the Donation have worked together to bring a comprehensive implementation of employer matching gift program to Salesforce. Through this implementation, forms designed through Click & Pledge’s API and Connect platform will offer the employer identification field as part of the donation process.
The API Class Library will process “Double The Donation” (DTD) fields without any need for additional coding. To add the DTD Corporate Gift Matching app to any VF page simply add the following code to the site, replacing the API Key with the one provided by the DTD.
Transactions including the employer information will trigger a series of events in Salesforce that include creating an employer account and sending detailed matching gift program policies, forms, and contact information to patrons.
