Project Ocean Episode 2 – Upwell Turtles

Upwell Turtles fights to protect sea turtles in the open ocean all over the world. Based in Monterey, California, Upwell collects and mobilizes data from tags and trackers to help predict sea turtle locations in almost real time. Sea turtles face so many threats – everything from plastic pollution to ship strikes.

O’Neill Sea Odyssey – April Spotlight

O’Neill Sea Odyssey is founded on the belief that the ocean should be free and accessible. We want to change the relevance and accessibility of information and connection to our ocean. By providing free, hands-on learning to traditionally marginalized groups of students who would not otherwise have the ability to access our coasts or oceans, we are creating a new narrative for communities of color.

OCEARCH – March Spotlight

Our Project Ocean March spotlight lands on OCEARCH, a global nonprofit piecing together the life puzzle of our ocean’s biggest residents. OCEARCH focuses most of its attention on the white shark, as it believes they are critical to ocean health and flourishing.

The Click & Pledge Foundation presents Season 5 – Project Ocean. Project Ocean will take place from January to December 2023. Together with 10 Click & Pledge nonprofit customers, we will celebrate and advocate for our ocean, and therefore our world, through creative expression and tangible action.
