The Click & Pledge Foundation Joins Forces with Local Organizations for “A Night to Give”

November 17th, The Lyric Theatre is hosting Click & Pledge’s “Next Generation” short film series. The 3 films showcase local organizations providing opportunities and hope for generations to come. Our team is honored to be sharing the stories of Plenty!, United Way, and VCOM. Each organization has a unique story and we are truly inspired by working with them. This event is a great opportunity to show support for these organizations providing our community with so much. Doors open at 5:30 and entry is free, any donations to the organizations involved are appreciated!

The event will feature films about the following organizations.

    • Plenty! is a local farm in Floyd that feeds hungry neighbors, fosters community, and supports nutrition education. Their program MarketKids guides youth through all the steps involved in growing crops to be sold at the local farmers market.
    • United Way of the New River Valley unites individuals and businesses to improve the lives of the community members. During the holiday season, United Way shines by providing underprivileged families with food boxes through their Holiday Assistance Program.
    • Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) is an osteopathic medical school whose mission is to prepare globally-minded, community-focused physicians to meet the needs of rural and medically underserved populations and promote research to improve human health.
