Get Big With GiveBig®: 4 Tips To Get The Best Out Of Your Giving Day

Summer is generally considered the slow season for fundraising. Kids are off from school, summer vacations are planned, and we complain to each other about how hot and humid it is (or is that last one is just me?). So for professional fundraisers…what is summer good for? Well it’s the perfect season for preparing for your next giving day, of course.

To help you get the most out of summertime, I’ve come up with a list of 3 things you can do this summer to make this year’s GiveBig® the best one yet.

Train For Your Giving Day

We recognize that for many nonprofits, the GiveBig® website and Click & Pledge software only get looked at right before your giving day. It can be a lot to absorb in a short amount of time.

That’s why we’re introducing a new demonstration series called “Get Big with GiveBig®.” These are topic-specific micro training sessions each month. We hope you’ll join us for them.

We’re also introducing new fundraising features for GiveBig® that will help you spread your message and engage more donors. New tools like video fundraising with pledgeTV™, Facebook Ads (which Click & Pledge pays for!), and customizable donation pages… all of which you can connect to your GiveBig® campaign.

Set Up Your Team As Account Users

As you may recall, we offer added security to everyone’s Click & Pledge accounts to make sure the “bad guys” can’t access them. Shared passwords are now a thing of the past. To ensure that everyone that needs to access your account can login, you need to add them as Users on your Click & Pledge account. For added convenience, there are two ways you can set up your login — by email, or on your mobile phone.

Know How (And When) To Ask For Help

We know questions come up. Recently I’ve heard a couple of people say, “I know you prefer us to submit a support ticket, but… ” And while we certainly offer help by support tickets, we offer many other support options, too.

One of my favorites is Live Support. It’s a chance to work hand-in-hand and screen-share so we can help you quickly. Join us any Monday through Thursday from 3 to 3:30 p.m to have your question answered. Callers are received on a first-come, first-served basis, and our experts stay on the call until everyone has an answer or a plan.
